PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Air Force Station, Thane was founded on 19th September 1981. It is located in Air Force Campus, semi-close to nature in the sub-urban area (Kolshet) of Mumbai in the District of Thane, Maharashtra. It consists of Grade 1 to Grade 12 (Science Stream & Commerce Stream) in Shift-1 and Grade 1 to Grade 10 in Shift-2. It is a co-educational school under the purview of Ministry of Education, Government of India. Its head-quarter named Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is located in New Delhi
