Mrs Shahida Parveen Deputy Commissioner KVS RO Mumbai Message Heartfelt greetings and congratulations to all on the auspicious occasion of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Foundation Day. As we celebrate the glorious Diamond Jubilee of our prestigious organization, it fills us with immense joy, enthusiasm, and pride to reflect upon the remarkable journey we have undertaken together. This day serves as a poignant reminder of the pivotal role this esteemed organization plays in fostering national unity, humanity, and prosperity through the power of education. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is committed to nurturing the holistic development of students, ensuring a uniform curriculum and educational standards across all its schools throughout India. The 69 Kendriya Vidyalayas in the Mumbai Region uphold this commitment by placing a strong emphasis on imparting life skills and fostering harmony through child-centric learning activities. At KVS, our motto is: “Hiranmayen Patren Satyasyapihitam Mukham Tat Tvam Pushannapavrunu Satyadharmay Drishtaye.” Pupils must therefore acquire the knowledge and perspective necessary to overcome the allure of falsity and embrace Satyam Shivam Sundaram through the transformative power of education. As education continually evolves, KVS remains committed to adapting to change. All Kendriya Vidyalayas are currently implementing the New Education Policy-2020, a policy for the revitalization of India in the global context. It aligns with the needs of the times, society, and national culture. In addition to academic pursuits, activities such as sports, music, art, and dance are integral parts of Kendriya Vidyalayas’ curriculum. Utilizing our resources and the dedication of our teachers and staff, students are offered numerous platforms to shape their futures. As we embark on this journey forward, let us reaffirm our commitment to nurturing the next generation of responsible, compassionate, and empowered citizens. Together, let us continue to strive for excellence and contribute towards building a brighter future for our nation. With best wishes, Shahida Parveen

Future is not what we planned for tomorrow, it is the result of what we do today, so do the best in your present & enjoy future. Sacrifice is greater than love. Character is greater than beauty. Humanity is greater than wealth, But in any relationship nothing is greater than “Trust”. Easily achieved things do not stay longer and things which stay for longer are not easily achieved even success & relation. The aim of the education is to impart knowledge, lay bare facts in their right perspective and imbibe values in the malleable pupils of an institution. To this end KV Thane was established as one amongst the many prestigious Kendriya Vidyalayas of the Country in the year 1981. Since then, the school has come a long way while paving the way for many meritorious students who have attained distinguished heights in the careers of their choice. The faculty has all along strived to achieve academic excellence and total development of personality of its students. The four-fold mission of the school is to: (1) Cater to the educational needs of children whose parents are employed by central government bodies and who are transferred time to time. Thus the school provides a common programme of education. (2) Pursue excellence in academics and co-curricular activities. (3) Initiate and promote experimentation and innovation by collaborating with other educational bodies. (4) Develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of Indianness in the children. The school has pupil strength of more than1500 and faculty strength of 80, thereby providing an adequate student teacher ratio. Our website will provide you an insight of our functioning and the achievements of our students in both the academic and co-related fields of growth. We would be delighted to receive your valuable comments and suggestions to make the site a truly.
